In ancient Japan, a young samurai embarks on a grand journey to find his master. Use the Power of Words style of swordplay to turn your thoughts into attacks and defeat your enemies.

The Way of Words is a single player action game in which you type out words to execute attacks. It is inspired by retro typing games such as The Typing of the Dead. The game was released in early May of 2024.

Story

A lone samurai travels across time and space in search of his sensei, who has been missing for the past year. Along the way, he must battle enemy factions who stand in his way using special techniques taught to him by his sensei. The Samurai is proficient in the “Power of Words” school of combat, a fighting style which emphasizes turning thoughts into attacks.

Gameplay

Hone your keyboard skills by typing out words as fast as possible to strike, block, and parry over three action-packed levels. Words get longer and more complex as you progress. If you don't type a word in time, you will take damage. If your health reaches zero, it's game over. Type faster for a higher score!
